What we liked
What we didn't
The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra keeps the familiar tall book-style form while meaningfully refining it. The new Flex Titanium hinge delivers a nearly crease-free display and a thinner, lighter build than the Fold 7. Both the 8-inch inner and 6.5-inch cover LTPO OLED screens reach 3,000 nits of peak brightness, looking gorgeous indoors and out. The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chipset delivers class-leading performance for multitasking, gaming, and AI features. The 200MP main camera, paired with a 10MP 3x telephoto, captures exceptional detail. Battery life at 5,000mAh is solid but not exceptional for the price. A notable weakness is its IP48 rating, offering less dust protection than fully IP68-rated rivals. Still, a premium foldable.
