India's TV market is booming, with more people streaming content from platforms like Netflix, Prime Video, and Hotstar. LG's 2025 models are designed with this in mind, offering seamless integration with popular apps and voice controls that work well in multilingual households. Prices start from around Rs 74,990 for entry-level models and go up to over Rs 24 lakh for premium ultra-large screens. All models run on webOS, LG's user-friendly operating system, which gets updates for up to five years through the webOS Re:New program.

Understanding LG's TV Technologies in 2025

LG offers several types of TVs, each using different display tech to suit various preferences. Here's a simple breakdown:

• OLED (Organic Light-Emitting Diode): These TVs have self-lit pixels, meaning each pixel turns on and off independently. This gives perfect blacks, infinite contrast, and vibrant colors. They're great for dark rooms and movie nights. In 2025, LG's OLED evo models use advanced AI to boost brightness and personalization.

• QNED (Quantum Nano Emitting Diode): A step up from regular LED TVs, QNED combines Quantum Dots for better colors with Mini LED backlighting for improved contrast. They're brighter than OLEDs, making them ideal for bright Indian living rooms where sunlight is common.

• UHD/LED: These are more affordable options with 4K resolution. They use standard LED backlighting and are perfect for budget buyers who want smart features without the premium price.

All 2025 models support 4K resolution, Dolby Vision for better HDR, and Dolby Atmos for immersive sound. Gaming features like 4K at 165Hz refresh rate, NVIDIA G-SYNC, and AMD FreeSync make them excellent for consoles like PS5 or Xbox.
