Lumx Air Conditioners in India

AC, fridge, washing machine and LED TV prices may rise from October 1 as appliance makers pass on higher metal, freight and currency costs.

V-Guard has launched the Zivardo 100 air cooler in India, featuring a 100L tank, 20m air throw, and antifungal honeycomb pads. Priced at Rs 12,999, it targets large spaces and offers enhanced durability and user convenience.

Deciding to repair or replace an air conditioner depends on its age, repair frequency, and energy costs. Frequent breakdowns, higher bills, and the 5,000 Rule can help determine if replacement is the better option.

India’s extreme heat makes air conditioning essential. Dual inverter ACs offer more efficient, quieter, and stable cooling than normal ACs, saving energy and costs over time, especially with frequent use.

AC gas refilling is necessary only when there is a refrigerant leak, not as routine maintenance. Signs of leaks include poor cooling and ice on pipes. Always fix leaks before refilling, use the correct gas, and rely on trusted service providers.

Portable ACs are mobile and easy to install, using 1.8-2 kWh per hour, while window ACs are fixed, more energy efficient at 1.5 kWh per hour, and offer stronger cooling for larger spaces.
